About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cemetery Operative to join our client's team based in Brentwood. This is a physically demanding outdoor role that plays an important part in maintaining cemetery grounds to a high standard while supporting burial operations with professionalism and respect.
The position is initially seasonal to support the busy summer period, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.
- Grass cutting and mowing
- Ensuring cemetery grounds are maintained to a high standard at all times.
- Working respectfully around visitors, funeral services, and memorial areas.
- Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, or a similar outdoor environment.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Competitive pay starting from £13.53 per hour, depending on experience.
