Are you a whizz in the kitchen with a love for crafting top-notch food? Ready to step up and lead a busy kitchen team? Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) is looking for a skilled Kitchen Manager to take charge of our kitchen operations and ensure every burger we serve is nothing short of perfection.

You’ll Be Doing:

  • Run the Kitchen: Take the reins in the kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly, from prep to plating. You'll be the go-to person for all things food-related.
  • Lead by Example: Inspire and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring they're motivated, well-trained, and delivering consistently high standards.
  • Maintain Quality: Ensure every dish that leaves the kitchen meets GBK's high standards for taste, presentation, and quality. You'll be the guardian of our famous burgers!
  • Manage Stock & Orders: Keep the kitchen stocked with the freshest ingredients, manage orders, and ensure cost efficiency without compromising on quality.
  • Ensure Safety & Cleanliness: Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety, making sure everything is spick and span and in line with health regulations.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a kitchen management or head chef role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team under pressure.
  • Culinary Passion: A deep love for food and cooking, with a particular passion for creating gourmet burgers that wow our customers.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational abilities to manage the kitchen's operations, from stock control to team rotas.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure every plate leaving the kitchen is perfect.
  • Commitment to Safety: Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
