About the team and role

The Field Marketing team at GBG consists of regional-specific marketing professionals across Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Together, the team manages account-based marketing, event marketing, and other field activities to drive sales pipeline for each territory. Field Marketing are on the front lines of GBG’s go-to-market strategy and help shape the business’s overall growth.

The Vice President, Field Marketing at GBG is responsible for regional and GTM segment-specific pipeline creation via events, account-based marketing, and sales enablement. This role manages Field globally for cross-region synergy, while deploying resources efficiently to support each region individually. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract, starting from July. We’re open to team members being based near Chester or London.

What you will do

  • Own account-based marketing (ABM) and targeted marketing to both new business prospects and existing customers through events and more diversified channels.
  • Deliver longer-term market penetration and momentum, working on initiatives that may show impact over multiple quarters.
  • Support the GTM team on global expansion opportunities, including cross-sell campaigns and coordinating expansion across regions.
  • Responsible for both first-party and third-party event marketing and increasing ROI from events.
  • Manage a team of field marketers, ABM specialists, and external contractors to deliver campaign performance.
  • Measure the performance of the field marketing efforts, including pipeline and revenue impact.

Skills we’re looking for

  • Experience leading a globally distributed team.
  • Strong partnership with sales teams and the broader go-to-market organization.
  • Familiarity with 6sense or similar ABM technologies.
  • Proven ability to drive ROI from events.
  • Expertise in process, people, and resource management, including both in-house and external contractors.
