Salary - £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
Working Hours: Mon-Thur 08:30 – 17:00, Fridays 08:30 – 16:00, including 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Holiday: 20 days paid holiday (increasing with service to 25 days), not including bank holidays.

Job Description: To work alongside the present Workshop & Warehouse Manager in a busy workshop environment.
Key day-to-day tasks:
- Picking & packing orders.
- Assembly of parts to suit customer orders.
- Arranging shipments using online courier portals.
- Unloading deliveries manually and by forklift/pallet truck.
- Receipting deliveries on the internal computer system.
- Unpacking deliveries and organising stock in the appropriate location within the workshop.
- Stock management, including managing stock levels and placing orders with suppliers.
- Cleaning the workshop and associated areas, to keep them tidy and presentable.
A training programme will be provided on our unique range of machines and associated products to enable the successful candidate to undertake:
- Servicing, general repairs and maintenance of our busy hire fleet.
- Servicing, general repairs and maintenance of customer equipment.
- An understanding of how to run and operate the machines to ensure rounded knowledge of the products, and aid in maintaining them.
As such, a mechanical/engineering background is preferred, or other transferable skills. Prior experience in a workshop environment would also be beneficial.
The successful candidate will need to have a good work ethic and be willing to learn new skills. Attention to detail and pride in the quality of work produced is essential.
Desired Skills:
- Forklift truck license preferred, but not essential. Training can be provided.
- IT literate to basic standard (MS Office programmes, Outlook). Training will be provided on company programmes.
- Proactive, with good time management.
- Good organisation & communication skills.
- Must have a valid UK driving licence and access daily to a vehicle.
