We are seeking an AI Semantic Architect based in London to design and implement semantic data frameworks that enable smarter data integration and AI-ready knowledge structures across the enterprise.
What You’ll Do
- Design Ontologies: Develop and maintain ontologies using OWL/RDF to model enterprise data domains and relationships.
- Build Knowledge Graphs: Create and manage enterprise knowledge graphs that unify diverse data sources.
- Semantic Querying: Develop and optimise SPARQL queries for advanced data retrieval and analytics.
- Ensure Data Quality: Implement semantic validation rules (e.g., SHACL, OWL constraints) for data integrity and interoperability.
- Integrate with Enterprise Systems: Embed semantic models into data pipelines, APIs, and enterprise workflows.
- Collaborate with AI Teams: Enable AI agents and LLMs to leverage ontologies and knowledge graphs for context-aware reasoning.
- Adopt Best Practices: Stay current with semantic web standards and contribute to internal guidelines for semantic data management.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
- Semantic Web Expertise: Hands-on experience with OWL, RDF, and SPARQL.
- Knowledge Graph Experience: Practical experience with graph databases (Neo4j, GraphDB, Apache Jena, etc.).
- Data Modelling & Integration: Strong understanding of data architecture and integration techniques.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar for semantic data processes.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot ontology logic and query performance.
Desired Experience
- Familiarity with metadata standards (Dublin Core, schema.org).
- Experience integrating semantic technologies with AI/LLM workflows.
- Proven track record of embedding semantic layers into enterprise systems.
- Hands-on with tools like Protégé, semantic reasoners, or cloud-based graph services (AWS Neptune, Azure Cosmos DB).
