The Role
As our new Stock & Service Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient warehouse administration, and smooth coordination between warehouse operations, systems, and clients. This role is critical in a fast-paced 3PL environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and process compliance are essential.

Key Responsibilities for Stock & Service Assistant
- Stock Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records across all clients and SKUs within the WMS
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and full stock takes; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor stock movements including receipts, put-away, transfers, picking, dispatch, and returns
- Work closely with warehouse operations to correct stock variances promptly
- Warehouse Administration
- Process inbound and outbound documentation accurately (GRNs, delivery notes, PODs, transfer notes)
- Update and maintain data accurately within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Prepare stock reports, variance reports, and client-specific inventory reports
- Liaise with clients regarding stock queries, discrepancies, and reporting requirements
- Customer Interaction
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and queries related to orders, deliveries, and returns
- Provide updates on order status and resolve delivery issues
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Previous Experience In a Warehouse Role (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Desirable Attributes
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
- Experience with ERP systems or CRM platforms
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work on own initiative
Education And Experience
- Experience in stock control is essential
- Proven experience in warehouse administration or logistics support
