We are hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers for our Dedicated Fleet team at GBA Logistics in Scunthorpe. This full-time position follows a 5 on 2 off (Mon-Fri) working pattern.
The Role:
As a Class 1 Driver, you will deliver a high-quality, reliable service to our valued customers across the UK. Your responsibilities include:
- Completing nationwide deliveries in a safe, professional and compliant manner.
- Handling cage work, primarily serving retail customers.
- Representing GBA with pride and professionalism.
- Contributing to our mission of providing exceptional logistics solutions.
- Involvement in general haulage, dock and retail work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Ensure safe and secure loading, using proper load restraint procedures.
- Drive safely and professionally, complying with traffic laws, working time regulations, and tachograph rules.
- Practice fuel-efficient driving and report any vehicle defects promptly.
- Perform regular walk-around inspections for ongoing compliance.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service during all interactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle at all times.
About You:
- A customer-friendly manner and a positive can-do attitude.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A solid understanding of tachograph rules and working time directive.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A minimum of 1-year UK Class 1 (LGV C+E) driving experience.
- No DD or DR driving offences.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
