Role Overview

As a Class 1 HGV driver, you will deliver a reliable, high‑quality service across the UK. You will handle cage work primarily serving our retail customers and represent GBA with pride and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
  • Ensure safe and secure loading, using proper load restraint procedures.
  • Drive safely and professionally, complying with traffic laws, working time regulations and tachograph rules.
  • Practice fuel‑efficient driving and report any vehicle defects promptly.
  • Perform regular walk‑around inspections for ongoing compliance.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service during all interactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle at all times.
  • Involve store deliveries & cage work.

About You

  • Customer‑friendly attitude and positive can‑do attitude.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid understanding of tachograph rules and working time directive.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Minimum 1 year UK Class 1 (LGV C+E) driving experience.
  • No DD or DR driving offences.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
