The Role
As a Class 1 Driver at GBA Logistics you will be a vital part of our Dedicated Fleet team, delivering a high‑quality, reliable service to our valued customers across the UK. Your role involves completing nationwide deliveries in a safe, professional and compliant manner, ensuring each journey reflects our commitment to operational excellence. You will handle cage work, primarily serving our retail customers – a flexible, customer‑focused approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Ensure safe and secure loading, using proper load restraint procedures.
- Drive safely and professionally, complying with traffic laws, working time regulations, and tachograph rules.
- Practice fuel‑efficient driving and report any vehicle defects promptly.
- Perform regular walk‑around inspections for ongoing compliance.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service during all interactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle at all times.
- Involve store deliveries & cage work.
About You
- A customer‑friendly manner and a positive can‑do attitude.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A solid understanding of tachograph rules and working time directive.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A minimum 1 year UK Class 1 (LGV C+E) driving experience.
- No DD or DR driving offences.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
