Delivering Gas Solutions To The British Industry. Energas is part of Air Liquide Group in the UK, a leading provider of cylinder gases to various industry sectors, delivering a local and personal service with global quality products and expert technical support.
Responsibilities
- Operate our heavy goods vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently.
- Execute high-quality multi-drop delivery services, ensuring products reach company depots on schedule.
- Maintain full responsibility for load and vehicle security, ensuring all mechanical and safety equipment is in working order.
- Keep the vehicle clean and maintain its upkeep.
- Manage essential daily documentation, including advice notes, tachograph charts, and fuel mileage, while aligning work hours with WTD regulations.
- Obtain signatures, collect payments if required, and maintain a high standard of customer service with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prioritise staff, customer, and public well-being by strictly adhering to Health and Environment policies and the 12 Life-Saving Rules.
Qualifications
- Minimum LGV C (HGV 2) license with a clean driving record and a valid Driver’s CPC Card.
- ADR qualification desired but not essential.
- Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries and strong geographical knowledge of local and regional areas.
- Good standard of health and fitness for manual handling of equipment; willing to undergo a company medical if requested.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills for accurate logging and reporting.
- FLT Licence an advantage but not essential.
