Pensions Risk Transfer Consultant – UK Wide (Hybrid)
Mercer is seeking talented and ambitious pensions consultants eager to advance their careers and focus on client consulting. Join our expanding Risk Transfer team to advise clients on buy-in strategies, market broking, and scheme wind-ups. We value individuals with excellent communication, project management, adaptability, business acumen, and client-facing experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing bulk annuity broking and pension scheme wind-ups, crucial for the run-off of DB schemes, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Working across various client stages in the buy-in process, including post-transaction buyouts and wind-up phases.
- Handling a diverse client portfolio, managing projects, and leading client relationships.
- Coordinating project activities, developing project plans, and assisting with budget setting.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Background in risk transfer, bulk annuity broking, or pension scheme wind-ups preferred.
- Understanding of the buyout process for pension schemes.
