Responsibilities
- Define, communicate and implement the correct segment / offer / product strategy to deliver a successful go‑to‑market for new and existing offers, through research of local segments and their collaborators, working with Channel and Strategy management, Commercial Sales, and Central Marketing, and the creation/localisation of tailored value propositions, campaigns and sales tools.
- Report on all activities and sales ensuring smart measurement and delivery of an agreed return on investment through well‑planned and implemented strategy and planning, and management of allocated budget for the segments owned.
- Manage local product / offer / solution within owned segments through their lifecycle (from launch to end of life) by working closely with key partners both locally and globally, maximising performance.
- Increase market share across agreed segment products / offers / solutions highlighted as part of the business strategy.
- Meet the required level of knowledge of segments / products / offers and solutions through external research.
- Use product‑management skills to improve efficiencies, increase margin, etc. outside of promotional activities, utilising all of the 7Ps.
- Own communications for the segment including content creation, social media campaign development, pay‑per‑click campaigns, website and SEO optimisation.
- Maintain and develop relationships with targeted trade associations and trade media to effectively cascade segment propositions to a wider target audience and leverage their industry research, knowledge and connections.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified.
- CIM qualification.
- Proven experience in a marketing role within a large corporate environment.
- Planning and execution of multiple omnichannel campaigns.
- Strategic problem solver with a solid business understanding and commercial approach to marketing activities.
- Budget management, reporting and measurement of campaigns and activities.
- Demonstrable marketing analytical skills to correlate results, objectives and inputs.
- Strong written, communication, presentation, training and negotiation skills.
- Expert in stakeholder management.
- Able to work at pace under pressure on multiple projects.
- IT literate – CRM, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Google Advertising, social media campaign manager.
