We are seeking motivated and experienced Chartered Surveyors to join our dynamic team in support of the newly appointed Head of Surveying Services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the largest broker-managed surveying proposition in the UK, focusing on delivering exceptional service to our clients in the insurance sector.
We will count on you to:
- Collaborate with the Head of Surveying Services to implement and enhance surveying services across various Marsh client sectors, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic direction.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients, addressing their complex property claims and insurance needs with a strong customer focus.
- Actively listen to client priorities and understand their specific requirements to build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
- Scope repairs and procure appropriate contractors and other experts to reinstate damaged assets.
- Align the interests of brokers, clients, and surveyors to create a cohesive approach to material damage assessment, repair and reinstatement.
- Collaborate with brokers' claims representatives to address policy considerations, ensuring a balanced approach that protects client interests while maintaining compliance with loss adjuster requirements and the needs of insurers.
- Assist in the development and delivery of surveying methodologies and best practices, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance personal and professional growth within the surveying field.
What you need to have:
- Chartered Surveyor status with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS).
- Proven experience in the insurance sector, with a strong understanding of surveying services and methodologies.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used in surveying.
