We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial & Corporate team at Marsh. This role will be based in the London office and is a hybrid role that requires working at least 3 days a week in the office.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our London Branch in our Commercial or Corporate Team as a Client Advisor. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial or corporate insurance account handling looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker. We are a diverse community of colleagues, serving a diverse community of clients with insurance and risk management with a solution focused mindset.

Within your role you’ll be responsible for servicing both new & existing clients with a range of insurance products. We will rely on you to:

  • Be present and collaborative with Marsh Client Executives and wider service team regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals.
  • Request and review underwriting information on behalf of C&C clients and understand their requirements.
  • Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in consultation with the Client Executives and the Placement Team.
  • Utilize Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers.
  • Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client reports for renewals.
  • Produce and/or request Insurer documentation.
  • Strive to assist branch New Business and Expanded Services targets.
  • Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments.
  • Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and comply with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.

What you need to have:

  • Commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products or experience within other areas of insurance (particularly Property & Casualty).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • A good awareness of clients’ business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans.
  • Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment.
  • Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities.
