Health, Safety, and Environmental Consultant – Qatar

Our Advisory Team seeks candidates for this role in Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Improve clients’ risk management through tailored health, safety and environment consulting projects
- Review client operations to identify and analyze risks to employees, contractors, visitors, and other stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive HSE documentation to embed HSE into client operations
- Undertake on-site visits to assess HSE capabilities, identify risks and areas for improvement, and craft corrective action reports
- Deliver both in-person and online training of client employees in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management
- Prepare concise, clear reports and presentations
- Provide risk management advice and consultancy primarily on health, safety, and environmental risks
- Identify and develop relationships and opportunities internally and externally to ensure sustained growth for Marsh
- Work with key business leaders to deliver value-added services to clients
- Develop and deliver propositions and solutions in line with client and market needs
- Grow professionally as a Health, Safety, and Environmental Professional and Consultant
- Expand personal understanding and knowledge of Risk Management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Professional HSE certifications (e. g., NEBOSH International Diploma, IOSH Membership, CSP / CMIOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor)
- Minimum 15 years of experience within construction, Oil & Gas, utilities, and heavy industries consulting
- Proven experience in a senior advisory or consultancy role
- Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and management systems
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary, high-risk projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High level of report writing and presentation skills
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering complex HSE consultancy projects to major clients
- Experience working with clients in construction, Oil & Gas, utilities, and heavy industry consulting
- Ability to advise clients on compliance with local regulations, international standards, and industry best practices
- Extensive experience at executive and shareholder-facing level
- Deep expertise in ISO-based management systems (14001 and 45001) and regulatory engagement
- Experience managing consultancy teams, building out consultant capabilities, and driving change
- Recognized for creating scalable, audit-ready solutions that meet regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and business growth
- Experience supporting environmental management initiatives including waste management, sustainability, and environmental impact mitigation
- Experience delivering HSE training, workshops, and awareness programs for management and site personnel
- Experience in technology platforms for delivering solutions
