Agilent is looking for a scientist to provide customers with post‑sales technical support on the Genomics portfolio, including instrument and application support for Automated Electrophoresis, qPCR, Microarray, and NGS. The role is based in the Cheadle Agilent Office (hybrid model) and involves remote support via phone, email, and other tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑level technical application support related to Agilent's Genomics solutions.
- Perform remote troubleshooting on instrument hardware, software, consumables, and applications.
- Document customer interactions using internal ticketing systems and align with company processes for complaint handling.
- Work closely with field and repair center teams.
- Provide consolidated feedback to sales and field teams regarding customer issues.
- Develop technical resources for customers.
- Deliver external scientific training on Agilent's Genomics solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field is required, or equivalent experience.
- Lab experience is required.
- Experience with molecular biology and automation is highly preferred.
- Previous customer‑facing experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, or Italian) are highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- A passion for sharing scientific knowledge with customers and colleagues.
