Pay Rate: £26,973.50 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 11:00 - 19:00 Monday to Friday

Location: Derby, DE74 2BB

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Assisting with general handyman duties throughout the Yard as required, ensuring yards are kept tidy at all times.
  • Assisting with the onsite waste containers, ensuring that access to them at all times, and the use of them is not abused.
  • Efficiently monitoring and maintaining the cardboard and plastic baler – including cable checks, regular daily cleaning of the area and assisting in bailing the materials, moving bales onto a trailer ready for collection.
  • Externally monitoring all bay doors, maintaining cleanliness within the warehouse for debris.
  • Sweeping and cleaning any spillages in and out of the building as requested.
  • Monitoring and emptying bins located on site including the Warehouse and external areas.
  • Safely distributing items/stock around the building as requested.
  • Assisting with the onsite skips ensuring that materials are correctly disposed of in the appropriate skips to maximise capacity and any recycling requirements.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Hold a Counterbalance FLT Licence.
  • Have previous experience in a similar role which would be a distinct advantage.
