WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE WITH COUNTERBALANCE FLT LICENSE (Please note: This role has an out of hours "on call rota" - one week in every four. An extra payment of £157.50 is paid for each week you are on call, plus additional payments made if you are called out to site.) WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will: Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment. Be responsible for picking and packing specified items from storage and prepare them for shipment. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- + Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures + COUNTERBALANCE FLT LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL + Reach FLT experience would be advantageous but not essential + Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders + Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload + Manual Handling Equipment experience (MHE) + Basic computer skills + Own Transport WHY JOIN US?
