Pay Rate: £45,000-£51,000

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: VARIOUS AVAILABLE across early, late & night shifts – any 5 days from 7
Location: Derby – DE21 7HW

What you’ll do

• Lead and manage a team of Flow Room Leads and Controllers.
• Monitor warehouse automation systems, alarms and control room activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation performance, productivity and service delivery.
• Work closely with Warehouse Control System (WCS) Engineers, IT teams and automation providers to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure all system‑generated issues are identified, resolved and escalated appropriately.

This role would suit people who

• Have previous experience managing operational, control room or automation teams within a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Are familiar with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or warehouse automation technologies.
• Have strong people management and leadership experience.
• Can analyse operational data and produce management reports.
