What you’ll do:
- To manage and lead a transport team on a key contract for DHL, day-to-day transport O’licence compliance.
- Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate.
- Manage all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints), including associated investigations, in line with HR policy.
- Communicate with all internal and external colleagues in a polite and professional manner.
- Ensure all dispatch timeslots are adhered to at the planned departure times, ensure all transport plans are executed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in the areas of operating costs and service delivery.
What you’ll bring:
- Can lead from the front, winning hearts and minds and providing coaching and mentorship.
- Previous Transport Shift Manager experience.
- Experience with Microlise & TachnoMaster would be a bonus.
- Holding an International CPC Qualification would be desirable, however not essential.
- IT literate, with Microsoft Office packages.
- Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Aren’t afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed.
