Shift patterns: Monday-Friday 40 Hrs but can be flexible on start times.

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Clerk to join a fast‑paced and dynamic transport operation. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe, legal, and efficient running of our transport function, supporting the Duty FLM and Transport Manager with all administrative and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support First Line Managers (FLMs) with accurate and timely briefing and debriefing of drivers.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance, promoting and maintaining the highest standards across operations.
  • Prepare and reconcile delivery paperwork, including Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
  • Manage Tachomaster administration and reporting.
  • Support DHL training processes and licence checking.
  • Ensure vehicle history files are maintained and up to date.
  • Provide general administration support for both the fleet and driver teams.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment desirable.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Computer literate, confident using systems and transport software.
  • A proactive team player with good communication skills.
  • Ambitious and motivated.
  • Friendly and able to build a good rapport with drivers.
