We're now looking for a First Line Manager to take the helm of our daily Ops & transport operations! In this pivotal role, you will lead our dynamic team to achieve excellence and drive success throughout our transport network. Join us and be a key player in shaping the future of logistics!
WHAT YOU'LL DO- To plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report on work activities of a team; providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training & development
- Manage staffing levels to meet volumes and productivity KPI's
- Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for the team
- Preparation of key performance indicators
- Deliver team performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as required
- Ensure compliance to standard operating procedures (SOP's, SSOW's and RA's)
- Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice
- Previous First Line Manager Experience, either within Operations OR Transport
- Experience in Managing Teams/Multiple departments
- Experience of working in a busy retail operation
- IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Package Excel
