Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm

Location: Milton Keynes (Coventry is the cost centre)

Responsibilities

  • Work as an integral part of the Network Rail National Supply Chain
  • Logging of all queries and issues received via the CSS system
  • Aim to solve the query themselves or pass onto the relevant team to process
  • Handle queries ranging from delivery updates to product recalls
  • Manage delivery of light NR material including expediting and ensuring orders meet lead times
  • Proactively identify root causes for issues and effect resolution
  • Maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Perform additional admin tasks as directed by Help Desk Manager
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Oracle, Outlook & associated databases, and Microsoft packages
  • Provide efficient and effective communication and feedback to Network Rail on issue resolution

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous Customer Service Experience
  • Previous Call Centre Experience
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and able to work under pressure
  • Good communicator and able to handle a high volume of calls
  • Supply Chain and Rail experience – desirable
