Join our vibrant team as we take the wheel in managing and maintaining a fleet of circa 3,000 vehicles, utilised as part of DHL's company car scheme, exclusively supporting the Volkswagen Group. We are currently looking for a Customer Experience Vehicle Inspection Specialist to play an important role within DHL's Finished Vehicle Solutions customer contract. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating a seamless customer journey, we are looking for a detail-driven, people-focused professional to take ownership of our vehicle inspection experience. In this role, you'll combine technical accuracy with outstanding communication to ensure every customer feels confident, informed, and valued. Responsibilities
- Ensure an exceptional end-to-end experience for customers during the handover of their new vehicles and the inspection of their return vehicles, adhering to the VWG Return Standard.
- Conduct thorough inspections of return vehicles and new vehicles, adhering to agreed standards and timescales.
- Accurately record damage using handheld technology and other media to ensure all damage is documented.
- Maintain effective communication regarding up-to-date repair costs with the external parts department.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Assist with vehicle movements to and from the Handover Centre, adhering to site rules.
- Follow all health and safety procedures in the workplace and report any related incidents.
- Ensure the security of all vehicles on site and report any security concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the automotive industry would be desirable.
- Previous Customer Service experience is essential.
- Proven experience of inspections and vehicle estimating.
- Excellent customer service skills with a high level of communication (verbal and written).
- Strong eye for detail.
- Ability to prioritise work responsibilities and carry out duties within the allocated timeframe.
- Full, clean driving licence is essential.
