Pay Rate: Competitive Grade: RCS L Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, with flexibility to travel between sites and support operational requirements as needed. Location: Travel between sites in Derby, Banbury, West Yorkshire Be part of something new and exciting. At DHL Supply Chain, we're creating a flagship Life Sciences & Healthcare operation at Infinity Park Derby, combining advanced automation, specialist logistics capabilities and a brand-new team within a purpose-built facility. We're looking for a Facilities Manager to play an important role in building a high-performing, innovative operation that sets the standard from day one. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • Managing facilities across multiple sites, ensuring buildings, equipment, and services are maintained to a high standard
  • Coordinating contractors and service providers, monitoring performance and ensuring work is completed safely and effectively
  • Procuring facilities services, obtaining quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring value for money
  • Supporting maintenance programmes, refurbishments, and site improvement projects to enhance operational performance
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements across the sites

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Have experience managing facilities within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or operational environment
  • Have previous experience managing multiple facilities (beneficial)
  • Have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance, contractor management, and compliance requirements
  • Have experience managing supplier relationships, procurement activities, and contract negotiations
  • Are comfortable travelling between sites and supporting multiple locations where required
  • Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders
