We are looking for a Warehouse Flow Controller to join our fast-paced, highly automated operation at our East Midlands Gateway site. This role sits at the heart of the warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of operations and quick resolution of any system or automation issues, helping us deliver excellent service to our customers.

A typical day may involve:

  • Monitor automated warehouse systems, proactively identifying issues and escalating faults directly to engineering teams while communicating impacts and expected downtime to management.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse flow, including outbound operations, load allocation, and ensuring efficient movement of stock through the site.
  • Track and report outstanding orders, supporting operational visibility and ensuring timely dispatch performance.
  • Communicate planned maintenance activities and operational updates to relevant stakeholders across the site.
  • Manage a high volume of administrative and system-based tasks, including responding to emails and liaising closely with warehouse teams to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee warehouse administration or operational support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work with or oversee warehouse automation systems and support automated workflows.
  • Maintain high levels of organisation, manage multiple priorities, and ensure accuracy in a systems-driven role.
  • Prioritise customer service and adapt to changing service levels in a dynamic environment.
  • Use warehouse systems (ideally Blue Yonder and Matflo) and communicate effectively with teams, engineers, and management.
