Responsibilities
- Deliver palletised loads to food retail distribution centres and major RDCs.
- Perform multi-drop deliveries nationwide, averaging 2 drops per shift.
- Drive throughout the UK as part of a national delivery network.
- Transport ambient goods on pallets.
- Assist with unloading on approximately 2% of deliveries.
- Adhere to drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Comply with health and safety standards, the Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 8 months recent Class 1 driving experience.
- Maximum 6 penalty points on licence.
- Strong knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
