As an IT Systems Support, you will play a key role in delivering reliable IT support across the site.
Working closely with operational teams, you will ensure IT systems meet the needs of the business today while supporting future developments.
You will also serve as the main point of contact for customers and stakeholders regarding IT services that impact site operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive
Performance: You will maintain the existing applications while also assisting in development of reporting tools used by site to analyse performance and highlight improvement opportunity.
- Innovate: Successful delivery for IT solutions will include the coordination of central IT functions and coordinating and communicating with site operational colleagues.
- Lead with
Purpose: Acting as the first point of contact for IT queries, dealing with IT related problems and queries referred by other business teams and external customers working with multiple IT support desks.
- Ensure
Compliance: You will also play an active part in IT delivery for the site, act as a site IT SME (subject matter expert) providing end user service to enable the effective use of IT.
- WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience of working in a similar role with IT experience of business systems used by DHL.
- Experience preferably in the logistics industry with IT.
- A passion for IT and an enthusiasm to learn is critical to success in this role.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) - ideally in Manhattan ACTIVE, but you could also have Blue Yonder experience.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Control Systems would be desirable.
