At DHL Supply Chain, we're looking for an Internal Food Hygiene Auditor to support our onboard catering operation for one of our key customers. This role offers the chance to work across multiple locations, playing a critical role in protecting customers, maintaining brand reputation, and ensuring food safety excellence throughout the supply chain. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting risk-based food safety and hygiene audits across multiple operational sites.
  • Providing assurance that operations comply with UK Food Legislation, industry standards, contractual requirements, and best practice.
  • Reviewing site performance against food safety and hygiene KPIs.
  • Identifying risks, non-conformances, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assessing and reviewing operational processes to ensure they remain effective and compliant.
  • Supporting supplier and site oversight activities.
  • Producing audit reports and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
  • Working with site teams to drive food safety culture and operational excellence.
  • Supporting regulatory compliance, customer safety, and brand protection across the network.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Food Safety Auditing, Quality Assurance, or Compliance roles (essential)
  • Level 3 Food Safety Qualification (or equivalent)
  • HACCP Certification (minimum Level 3)
  • Strong auditing background with a proven ability to assess compliance and identify improvements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently across a geographically dispersed network
