LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) Days Driver - Planned or ad-hoc nights out based in Northampton.

Pay: £43,810 based on a 48‑hour contracted week.

Contract: Permanent (Full‑Time).

Location: Northampton – NN4 7BN.

Shift patterns: Rotational shifts Monday to Friday – starting time between 04:00 am‑06:00 am. Week 1 – 4 days, Week 2 – 4 days, Week 3 – 5 days.

What does the role entail?

  • Multi‑drop delivery to builders merchants sites (nationwide driving) Between 6‑8 drops per day, to and from branches and suppliers.
  • Load and unload our products at customer locations safely and efficiently.
  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to the Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.

What do we need from you?

  • Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E)
  • Driver CPC Qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum of 6 months recent Class 1 HGV driving experience
  • Ok to drive an articulated curtain‑side vehicle for Class 1 HGV work
  • Ok to travel all over the UK to conduct deliveries to different sites
  • Ability to deliver palletised goods
  • Readiness for planned or ad‑hoc nights out
  • Early start 4 am‑6 am (12‑hour working days)
