We are recruiting for a hands-on Despatch Clerk to join our fast‑paced logistics operation. This is a highly involved role and not just your average Despatch role. You will be part of a small, experienced team, collectively covering multiple operational responsibilities to ensure smooth, safe and efficient despatch activity.
Key Duties & Responsibilities- Order Processing & Systems Control
- Process customer orders using WMS platforms including Aurora and Calidus, alongside Power BI and Velocity
- Ensure all data is accurate and systems are updated to maintain full operational visibility
- Release orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all relevant despatch documentation is complete and correct
- Support smooth outbound operations by maintaining control of order flow
- Load & Transport Planning
- Plan vehicle loads with careful consideration of weight distribution, volumes, and transport compliance
