Position: Planning Assistant Location: Daventry (Crick Side) Salary: £30,766.32 Shift patterns: Any Five From Seven, 1x Earlies 7am until 3pm and 2 x Lates 3pm until 11pm Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract or secondment (Full-Time) Are you ready to dive into the world of logistics? A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE?
- Support with customer liaison and regularly communicate with the customer on calls and via email
- Communicate and work closely with admin, stock and warehouse teams
- Monitor the production plan closely and ensure it is up to date and accurate
- Monitor consumables stock levels, completing a weekly consumables account and keeping an accurate tracker
- Provide data to the management team as and when required for reporting purposes
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO?
- Previous Warehousing experience is essential
- Experience with WMS and planning systems (Nulogy and Blue Yonder) would be desirable
- Stock/inventory tracking experience
- Excellent planning skills with a proven track record
- Communication skills - Verbal and written
- IT literate - Excel, Word, Microsoft packages
