We are looking for a motivated Flow Room Controller to monitor and support warehouse automation systems, ensuring operational performance, system reliability, and the successful delivery of site KPIs in a fast-paced logistics environment. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Monitoring warehouse automation systems and control screens
- Monitoring alarms, resolving issues and escalating where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate shift logs and operational records
- Actively monitoring the status and performance of plant equipment and systems throughout the shift
- Working closely with automation support teams to ensure operational continuity
- Supporting the delivery of site KPIs, including financial and operational performance targets
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and supporting process enhancements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience within warehouse or supply chain operations
- Knowledge of JDA, Körber, or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation platforms
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
- Experience with data retrieval, reporting and analysis
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
