We're now looking for a Driver Shunter to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Complete an average of 15–20 delivery drops per day in line with route plans and schedules.
- Carry out regular manual handling of tyres; the role requires a good level of physical fitness.
- Work to a consistently high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Operate all authorised equipment safely and correctly, in accordance with licensing and operational authorisation.
- Complete thorough daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects.
- Report all personnel‑ or equipment‑related accidents immediately to the Transport Office.
- Accurately complete all required administrative documentation, including Proof of Delivery (PODs), to required standards.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with the Transport team.
- Count and check all products against delivery manifests.
