Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, Days (4am - 6am and 6am - 9am)

Location: Currently based at Coventry but site will be relocating to Daventry in July.

We're now looking for a Class 1 Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
  • Carry out high‑volume manual handling, handballing approximately 800–1,000 tyres across 1–2 delivery drops in line with operational requirements.
  • Work to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
  • Operate all equipment (for which a license is held and authorisation has been given) correctly and safely at all times.
  • Complete thorough daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Report all personnel or equipment related accidents immediately to the Transport Office.
  • Ensure all administration documentation (POD's) are completed accurately to the required standards.
  • Maintain regular contact with Transport team.
  • Count and check all products, compare to manifest and complete a visual check for damage.
  • Adhere to Safe Systems of work (SSW) and defined quality standards at all times.
  • Ensure that all company health & safety policies and standards of vehicle operation and cleanliness are adhered to at all times.
  • Report any excesses, shortages or damage to supervisor in a timely manner.
