Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 48 hours per week

Shift patterns: 3 week rota - 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off 5:30am start time

Location: Allington, Kent ME16 0LE

We're now looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time. We are happy to consider newly qualified drivers.

Typical Day
  • Delivering bulky items to customers' homes such as beds, mattresses, wardrobes etc alongside a Drivers Mate
  • Deliveries will be in and around Kent, Surrey and South London
  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
  • Regular completion of vehicle checks
Qualifications
  • Hold a valid HGV 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have no more than 6 points on driving license
  • Have experience of home delivery
  • Have face to face customer service skills
  • Are willing to complete a Basic DBS check (Funded by DHL)
