Ready to set the safety standard from day one? We're launching a brand-new Waitrose contract in Avonmouth and are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to embed a strong safety-first culture from the outset.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Leading Health, Safety and Environmental activity for a brand-new DHL Supply Chain operation supporting the Waitrose contract, setting clear standards from day one in line with DHL's Safety First culture and Waitrose's values of care, responsibility and high operational standards.
  • Driving large-scale HSE project activity as part of the site start-up and ongoing operation, including implementing new processes, systems, training programmes and safe working practices across warehousing and transport operations.
  • Acting as a trusted HSE partner to operational leaders, colleagues and external stakeholders, providing expert advice, managing audits, investigations and compliance activity, and embedding a proactive, visible safety culture across site and transport operations.

  • An experienced HSE professional with proven responsibility for managing safety within transport and warehouse environments, who enjoys working close to operations and influencing at all levels.
