Pay Rate: £44,177.81 (£17.69 PH) + shift premiums any hours worked between 10pm and 6am (£21.23 PH) any hours worked between 4pm and 10pm (£19.46 PH) Grade: P Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time and part time) Shift patterns: Monday-Friday start times between 01.00-07.00 Location: Dunelm, Leicester, LE19 1WY
A typical day may involve
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Regular completion of vehicle checks
- 1-3 store deliveries delivering to the rear of the store using a tail lift and electric pump truck with some manual handling required.
This role would suit people who
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
- Are polite and friendly and have a can do attitude
- Double Deck experience is desirable
- Are confident manoeuvering in a tight yard
- Enjoy driving the latest vehicle models.
