A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Produce Strategic / Tactical plans through routing systems ensuring optimal solutions are achieved from both a cost and service level perspective.
- Significant personal contribution towards optimisation activities that drive cost down solutions without affecting service levels.
- Data Analysis to forecast future and retrospective volumes to assess impact to freight plans.
- Investigate operational challenges & data discrepancies and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Tactical planning & operational experience in LLP operations in Supply Chain division and multi modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea).
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Strong and effective organising, planning and process work methods.
- Previous Planning Experience is Essential.
- Knowledge of DHL systems would be beneficial specifically Paragon.
- A good degree of computer literacy, with a comprehensive working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
