We’re looking for an IT Systems Support professional to play a key role in keeping our operational technology running smoothly, supporting our warehouse and transport systems, and driving digital innovation across a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on‑site IT support, maintenance and fault diagnosis for operational systems, including WMS, WCS, TMS, automation technology and general desktop environments.
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT issues, resolving incidents, coordinating escalations and ensuring smooth IT service delivery across the site.
  • Support new business requirements and project activity, from system installations and testing to deployment, release planning and documentation.
  • Manage hardware procurement, repairs and configuration while ensuring IT equipment, infrastructure and systems remain compliant, secure and fully operational.
  • Deliver user training, create test scripts, support change management processes and maintain high‑quality IT documentation in line with governance and regulatory standards.
  • Travel as needed to our Banbury site to provide hands‑on IT support, ensuring seamless system performance and operational continuity across both locations.

Qualifications

  • Previous IT experience, ideally in an operational or logistics environment, with strong troubleshooting and system support skills.
  • Exposure to operational systems (e.g., WMS/WCS/TMS), plus an interest in automation, digitalisation and modern IT trends.
  • Technical capability in areas such as SQL, macros, data analysis or RPA, with a passion for problem‑solving and innovation.
  • A solid understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals – networking, hardware, applications and service management principles.
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus and the confidence to train users, manage stakeholders and support IT changes from start to finish.
