Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 5 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off (Start Times 06.00am)

Location: Doncaster, DN3 3FF

We're now looking for a Driver's Mate to play a key role assisting our drivers to deliver goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Coordinating the picking and loading of goods onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
  • Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises or homes
  • Keeping customers up to date on the progress of their delivery
  • Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems
  • Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Are physically fit
  • Have previous experience of working with volume orders
  • Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
  • Can perform simple maths calculations
  • Previous experience as a Driver's Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal but isn't a deal breaker
