We're now looking for a Driver's Mate to play a key role assisting our drivers to deliver goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Coordinating the picking and loading of goods onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
- Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises or homes
- Keeping customers up to date on the progress of their delivery
- Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems
- Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Are physically fit
- Have previous experience of working with volume orders
- Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
- Can perform simple maths calculations
- Previous experience as a Driver's Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal but isn't a deal breaker
