About The Role

This vacancy is only open to those that are already qualified as a Rail operator, within a freight environment.

This is also a Talent Pool vacancy for you to register early interest for upcoming recruitment.

  • What you’ll do
  • Safely marshal, couple and uncouple wagons and locomotives within depots and yards.
  • Carry out essential ground operations and safety checks.
  • Work closely with Drivers and Yard Managers to keep freight services running efficiently and on time.

  • A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • Great teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Previous rail experience is a must
  • Full UK Manual drivers’ licence.
  • Live within 45 minutes of the location on the job advert.
