Fleet Mobility Specialist in Doncaster

We are seeking a skilled and logical-thinking Fleet Mobility Specialist to support the efficient operation of our Road Fleet function.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and confident in making decisions, and thrive in a busy fast-paced environment.

This would be an ideal next step for someone who already works within car hire, vehicle rental, mobility services, branch operations or corporate vehicle accounts.

The Fleet Mobility Specialist is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of our people mobility operation. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of colleagues through a range of transport solutions, overcoming logistical challenges and making effective decisions to keep operations running smoothly. Working closely with suppliers of leased, owned and rental vehicles, as well as a variety of service providers, you will help deliver a seamless and efficient transport service across the business.

This role can be based in our Peterborough or Doncaster office, regular travel will be required. This an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving continuous improvement and supporting a vital operational function.

The salary on offer for this role is £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure all bookings ofhire vehicles are placed efficiently, accurately and confirmed in a timelymanner.


• Work with the widerteam to ensure accurate and timely production of the weekly Hire Car Plan.


• Resolve any issuesfaced by traincrew and other internal users arising from hire car, taxi orother mobility solution suppliers ensuring delivery of an efficient and timelyservice.


• Maintain allsystems and processes necessary for the efficient and optimum functioning ofthe Road Fleet department.


• Process andallocate any Notices of Intended Prosecution and other traffic related offencesto the persons responsible swiftly and review systems and processes regularly to ensure resolutionand minimise legal risk against GBRf


• Engage with other internaldepartments and ensure all activities are aligned to deliver a seamlessservice.


• Collaborate with all Road fleetteam members to ensure daily clearance of the shared mailbox enquiries.


• Answer all incomingcalls and deal with queries or call back with resolutions.


• All other Road Fleet related tasksas directed by the Road Fleet Manager/Senior Fleet Mobility Specialist


• Continuanceof Tolls and Crossing charging management.


• Carry out regular reviews and provide reports and analysis inrelation to driving standards and compliance of vehicle users


• Analyseusage of vehicles, taxis and fuel cards to ensure compliances against our driving,expenses and other policies


• Assist theRoad Fleet Manager with implementing the fleet strategy as amended from time totime

Skills and Experience

• Highly resilient with provenorganisational skills to cope with a fast-changing environment andmultiple concurrent tasks


• Strong ability,knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Office products.


• Capable of working inpartnership with others, able to successfully motivate, engage, and drivechange initiatives to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.


• Excellentinterpersonal skills, able to manage, influence, leverage persuasion, andnegotiation to build effective relationships.


• Understanding of fleet managementlifecycle including dealing with fines, DVLA, insurance, fleet Providers,and garage services.


• Excellent numerical and analytical skills,with experience of collecting, organising and sharing informationaccurately.
