The predicted salary is between 30000 - 35000 £ per year.

Term: Full time, 39.25 hours per week

Overtime: Available and paid at time + half

Salary: Hourly, dependant on experience, we are currently looking for a skilled sprayer and require a minimum of two years previous experience.

Working hours: 8am – 5pm (Monday – Thursday), 8am – 4pm (Friday)

About the Company: GB Projects Ltd is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke commercial furniture, producing high-quality office furniture, boardroom tables, custom interior pieces and also a number of specialist products within the automotive and aerospace industries.

The Role: If you are a hardworking, enthusiastic & skilled furniture sprayer who wants to join a growing team operating from a modern, forward-thinking manufacturer then this is the role for you. This role will give the right candidate the opportunity to grow with the business and take on more responsibility as they develop.

What you will work with:

  • Hand Spraying Air Assisted Airless, Gravity Fed and Pressure Pots
  • Enclosed Spray Booth, flash off area and drying oven
  • Extraction Benches
  • Pneumatic & Manual Sanders
  • Cefla Mito Automatic Spray Line (as and when required)

Experience Required:

  • Experienced furniture spray painter with in-depth knowledge of solvent and water-based paints and stains.
  • In-depth knowledge of hand spraying techniques and different applications.
  • Highly experienced in the preparation of items for spray painting.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination & the ability to see subtle colour differences along with an exceptional eye for detail, ensuring quality checks are carried out before, during and after the spray process.
  • Experience with the maintenance of spray equipment, this will include cleaning, changing of parts such as booth filters & paper roll, and any other maintenance work specified.
  • Monitor inventory levels of paint materials & all paint shop and machine consumables.
  • Competent IT skills to navigate the company ERP system.
  • Work in an organised, methodical manner and take pride in maintaining a tidy workspace.
