Overview
GB News are seeking a skilled Video Journalist based in Scotland to join our team based throughout the UK.
As a national news broadcaster, we are committed to delivering engaging content to our audience.
You need to be able to work independently with support from the news desk in London.
At GB News we want to make regional stories relevant to a national audience and give national stories prevalence in your region.
You need to be pro‑active and be required to pitch ideas for all GB News platforms.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for producing TV content, creating website articles, and social media content.
As a producer and camera operator, you will set up interviews, film and edit stories.
In the reporter role, you will go live on‑air on a variety of stories from breaking news to planned segments.
You will also be required to voice and edit TV packages.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a background in news journalism, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
If you are motivated and enthusiastic journalist with a passion for storytelling, we would love to hear from you.
You will need a full driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
