We are looking for an energetic, results-driven Radio Direct Sales Executive to join our commercial team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling advertising and sponsorship opportunities directly to local businesses. You will play a key role in generating revenue by developing strong client relationships and creating tailored marketing solutions that help businesses grow through the power of radio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new direct advertising clients through cold calling, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing direct clients to ensure repeat business and long-term revenue growth.
- Identify client needs and craft customized advertising solutions using on-air, digital, and promotional opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Work closely with creative and production teams to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and on time.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity in internal CRM systems.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitive media, and industry insights to effectively position our brand.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in media sales, radio advertising, or B2B direct sales (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of clients.
- Self-starter with a results-driven attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of local business landscape and marketing trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
