The Equity Private Placements team in Houlihan Lokey is looking to add an experienced Associate to the team in London. The EPP team advises some of the most ambitious private companies on the origination and structuring of private equity capital.

  • Strong LBO and DCF modelling skills coupled with a strong knowledge and understanding of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Proven ability to persuade and influence others.
  • A flair for simply communicating complex ideas and stories with data is highly advantageous.
  • Prior experience supporting and managing more junior team members.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail and a desire to take the initiative.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats and limitations.
  • The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, building effective relationships with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
  • The motivation to work in a collaborative, rapidly changing, demanding but ultimately rewarding environment.
