We’re looking for a 6‑month Off‑Cycle Intern to join our Real Estate Capital Solutions team. You will work closely with a seasoned team of real estate professionals and contribute to the execution of high‑profile transactions across EMEA, advising some of the industry’s most prestigious investors and banks on investment strategies, capital structuring, and liability management. You will gain hands‑on experience navigating complex financial situations covering all real estate asset classes and positions in the capital stack.
Key Responsibilities- Build financial and cash flow models for real estate assets and platforms.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch books, investment memoranda, and financing memoranda.
- Support the execution of real estate‑focused capital markets transactions, including strategic advisory on acquisitions and divestitures.
- Assist in debt advisory for large‑scale financings and complex liability restructuring mandates.
- Conduct in‑depth market, industry, and company analyses on real estate trends.
- Work closely with legal, tax, and technical advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English (additional language skills are also advantageous).
- Outstanding academic record, preferably with a degree in accounting, economics, finance, or real estate.
- Previous internship experience within real estate investment, debt advisory, M&A advisory, private equity, restructuring, and/or related fields.
- Strong understanding of real estate valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
- Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills (especially for cash flow modelling).
- Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail.
- Good proficiency with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Previous experience in and/or interest in the real estate sector.
- International experience is also desirable, but not essential.
- Motivation and ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment.
