We are looking for an experienced Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with existing and new collectors; researching new markets and identifying new opportunities for the gallery; developing the exhibition and fair strategy; and working alongside the Artist Liaison to support the careers of the gallery’s artists, among other duties.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who can also work well independently and has an in-depth understanding of the contemporary art market and gallery system.
Candidates with 5+ years’ of sales experience in commercial galleries, a strong network of clients and proven experience generating sales and reaching sales targets are invited to apply. Experience with secondary market sales is a must.
