Responsibilities:
- Network Administration and support of Wider Network environment in a mission critical and highly available environment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in Network IT Landscape.
- System technical documentation for existing and new builds/configuration.
- Build and configure Network components (physical and logical) in accordance with approved design.
- Requirements gathering from customer.
- Co-ordination with vendors like cabling, ISP etc.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Experience with Network refresh/upgrade projects.
- Should have hands-on experience with Firewall & Security Technologies (Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Cisco ASA VPN, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, VMware NSX).
- Working knowledge of authentication systems such as SAML, SSO, LDAP and MS Active Directory.
- Deep understanding of IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols.
- Experience with Proxy and SSL is essential.
- Understanding of cybersecurity technologies, protocols and applications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio is a must.
- Troubleshooting skills for Cisco Environment in quick time (Nexus Switches (1000v, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, and 9k), Cisco Enterprise routers 3900, 3800 & LAN switches 3700, 3500, 2900 series) and CAT OS.
- Knowledge of Firewalls particularly Cisco ASA.
- Knowledge of BIGIP F5 Load-Balancers.
- Knowledge of Wireless technology WLCs, autonomous and lightweight APs.
- Perform network modelling, analysis, and planning.
- Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
- Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.
- Cisco Routing and Switching environment LAN & WAN.
- Knowledge of network sniffer for capturing logs (Wireshark/ Ethereal/ Solar-wind or any other equivalent).
